Beginner Driver Education (BDE) Course: Our MTO-approved 40-hour BDE program includes classroom or online learning, in-car lessons, and flexible instruction. It is designed to help G1 drivers build strong foundational skills and prepare for their G2 licence.
G2 & G Road Test Preparation: Focused driving lessons designed to improve confidence, sharpen essential skills, and help you pass your Ontario road test successfully.

Are courses and lessons government-approved?
Yes, Laurentian Driving School courses, lessons, and instructors are fully certified in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.
What are the benefits of taking driver’s ed?
Beyond helping you pass your road test, completing a certified driver's education course can significantly reduce your car insurance premiums (especially for young drivers!), shorten the graduated licensing process, and equip you with essential defensive driving skills for a lifetime of safe driving.
Will I get a discount on my insurance?
Laurentian Driving School delivers government-approved driver education courses, and course graduates may be eligible for an insurance discount. Please call your insurance provider for more information.
How do I pay for my course?
You can pay online or in person. We accept VISA, Mastercard & E-Transfer. A minimum of $100 is required to hold your spot in a class.
What if I miss an in-car lesson?
If you need to cancel in-car lessons, 24 hours notice must be given or you may be subject to a no-show fee for each lesson missed. You can contact the office at 1-800-805-0662, Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm or you can message your instructor directly. No show fees must be paid before the next scheduled lesson and before receiving a certificate of completion.
Where do I get picked up or dropped off?
We offer a pick up and drop off service at your preferred location within the Pembroke area.

On the 20 hour online course, sometimes there's a series of topics that you have to click on to hear/learn about it (ex: Click "steering wheel" to learn what it does).
